"Change your habits, change your character," well quoted by Swami Vivekananda, is the foundation for the overall development of the young generation. Dean Students’ Welfare is a statutory officer with the rank of senior faculty with a rich academic experience and a record of mature conciliatory interaction with students and carries with them a deep understanding of their day-to-day problems and common issues. The Dean Students’ Welfare attends to all the emotional, medical, and environmental needs of all the students.
The office of Dean Students’ Welfare provides ample scope, opportunities, and facilities for the all-round development of personality and leadership qualities among the students.
All the academic and cultural societies of the college are run under the administration and guidance of the Dean Students’ Welfare. The techno-cultural annual event is conducted by Dean (SW). The Dean Students’ Welfare office also coordinates with the Sports Department of college and organises several activities that are conducive to the promotion of the health of our students.

The Dean Students’ Welfare has the following responsibilities –
  • Arrangement of facilities for educational tours and excursions and participation in co-curricular and sports activities outside the institute.
  • Organise social and cultural activities with student participation.
  • Organise student bodies in the institute and their functioning.
  • Enhance the student-teacher/non-teaching staff relationship.
  • Organisation of Farewell for final year students.
